Excessive Heat Advisory – Cooling Centers Available

The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Advisory for Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Cooling centers are open to help residents stay safe during this period of extreme heat.

Cooling centers will remain available for the duration of the advisory. Please check back here or follow the City of Perth Amboy on social media for updates.

• Raritan Bay Area YMCA
  357 New Brunswick Avenue
  Open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Please check on elderly neighbors, individuals without air conditioning, and pets. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them.
