The City of Perth Amboy advises residents and businesses that overnight sewer lining work will take place on Smith Street between King Street and High Street.

Important Instructions

During work hours, residents and businesses in the affected area should avoid flushing toilets, doing laundry, or sending water down drains to prevent sewer backups.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in wastewater backing up into your property.

• Temporary traffic detours may occur along Smith Street.
• Restaurants and stores in the affected area must follow agreed-upon closure times if applicable.
• Drinking water service will not be affected.
