Pallone Unveils Lifesaving AED in Perth Amboy

Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. joined Mayor
Helmin J. Caba, the John Taylor Babbitt Foundation,
and community partners at the Veterans Memorial
Youth Complex in Perth Amboy to unveil a new
automated external defibrillator (AED) and
outdoor SaveStation.
The donation helps improve access to lifesaving
emergency equipment for young athletes, families,
and visitors to the complex. The AED is housed
in a temperature-controlled outdoor cabinet,
making it accessible during an emergency.
The event also highlighted the importance of
sudden cardiac arrest awareness and Congressman
Pallone's work on the HEARTS Act, which supports
expanded access to AEDs and cardiac emergency
preparedness.
The City of Perth Amboy thanks David and JoAnne
Babbitt, the John Taylor Babbitt Foundation,
Congressman Pallone, and everyone involved
in bringing this important safety resource
to our community.
