2026 Earth Day City-Wide Clean Up

Earth Week Clean-Up Events - Join Us in Making a Difference!

Join us for Perth Amboy's 2026 Earth Week clean-up efforts. Help beautify our city, support community pride, and take part in activities happening throughout Earth Week. Join us.

Date & Time:

  • Earth Day Cleanup: Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 3 PM to 6 PM
  • Primary City-Wide Cleanup: Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM

Locations & Activities:

Our clean-up events will take place at the following locations:

  • PAAC Community Garden (275 Alpine Street): Earth Day Cleanup on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 3 PM to 6 PM.
  • Patten Center Park (Cedar Street): City-Wide Cleanup site on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
  • Washington Park (Lee Street): City-Wide Cleanup site on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
  • Raritan Bay Area YMCA (375 New Brunswick Ave.): City-Wide Cleanup site on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
  • Portuguese Sporting Club Parking Lot (782 State Street): City-Wide Cleanup site on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
  • Sadowski Parkway Waterfront, Teen Center (56 Brighton Ave.): City-Wide Cleanup site on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Participants:

This event is a collaborative effort involving residents, volunteers, community organizations, and local partners city-wide.

  • Residents and families

  • Faith-based partners
  • Local volunteers

Special Features:

  • Supplies and support will be available for participating volunteers.
  • Earth Week programming will include additional community activities throughout the week.

Communication:

Look out for our flyers and announcements, and sign up early to participate.

Schedule:

  • Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 3 PM to 6 PM: Earth Day Cleanup at PAAC Community Garden.
  • Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 9 AM: Volunteers arrive at designated City-Wide Cleanup locations.
  • Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM: Clean-up activities take place across the city.

Additional Participation:

Community groups, neighborhood partners, and local organizations are encouraged to participate in Earth Week and support clean-up efforts throughout Perth Amboy.
