Earth Week Clean-Up Events - Join Us in Making a Difference!
Join us for Perth Amboy's 2026 Earth Week clean-up efforts. Help beautify our city, support community pride, and take part in activities happening throughout the week.
Date & Time:
- Earth Day Cleanup: Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 3 PM to 6 PM
- City-Wide Cleanup: Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM
Official Cleanup Locations:
Volunteers may participate at any of the following designated locations:
- PAAC Community Garden (275 Alpine Street)
- Patten Center Park (Cedar Street)
- Washington Park (Lee Street)
- Raritan Bay Area YMCA (375 New Brunswick Ave.)
- Portuguese Sporting Club Parking Lot (782 State Street)
- Sadowski Parkway Waterfront – Teen Center (56 Brighton Ave.)
Participants may also organize cleanups in their own neighborhoods.
Who Should Join:
- Residents and families
- Community organizations
- School and youth groups
- Faith-based partners
- Local volunteers
What to Expect:
- Supplies and support will be provided for volunteers.
- Additional Earth Week activities will take place throughout the week.

- Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 9 AM: Volunteer check-in at all locations.
- Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM: City-wide cleanup activities.
