ℹ️ Program Overview
Mayor Helmin J. Caba and the City Council invite homeowners to apply to Perth Amboy’s Home Improvement Program.
Eligible households may receive up to $25,000 as a forgivable loan to complete qualified home repairs.
- No cost to apply and it does not affect your credit score
- Assistance is provided as a 0% (no interest) ten-year forgivable loan
- A professional inspector oversees the process
- There is no monthly payment

- Roofs
- Foundations
- Plumbing
- Weatherization (windows, insulation, etc.)
- Heating systems
- Electrical systems
- And more
