Dangerous heat and humidity are expected Tuesday and Wednesday, with heat index values reaching the upper 90s.
Residents are encouraged to:
- Stay hydrated
- Limit outdoor activity during peak afternoon hours
- Check on seniors and vulnerable neighbors
- Utilize cooling centers if needed
Strong thunderstorms are also possible Wednesday evening.
