Investing in Perth Amboy’s Future
The City of Perth Amboy is making major investments to improve daily life for residents and support the long-term needs of our community. These projects focus on essential services, safer streets, updated public spaces, stronger neighborhoods, and infrastructure that residents rely on every day.

This work helps restore long-neglected areas, return vacant land to productive use, and support future public access, infrastructure improvements, recreation, housing, and long-term investment.
Parking Improvements
The City is adding more than 200 parking spaces, including two new municipal parking lots to support residents, local businesses, and visitors.
Public Safety Investments
Perth Amboy continues investing in tools that help police respond faster and keep neighborhoods safe.
- Drones for search, rescue, and emergency incidents
- Camera systems that help deter crime and support investigations
- Hiring more police officers
Planting Hundreds of New Trees Citywide
The City is planting hundreds of new trees across Perth Amboy to help reduce flooding, cool down streets during warmer months, and improve neighborhoods block by block.
