Port to the Past
Explore the Historic Ferry Slip Museum This Summer
Step into more than 300 years of Perth Amboy history at the Historic Ferry Slip Museum. Join us for Port to the Past, a free summer program featuring guided museum tours, music performances, family-friendly activities, and children's arts and crafts.
Located along Perth Amboy's waterfront at 300 Front Street, the Historic Ferry Slip is the last remaining reminder of the city's once-thriving ferry service that connected Perth Amboy and Staten Island for generations. Originally established in the late nineteenth century, the Ferry Slip played an important role in regional travel and commerce and has since been restored as one of the city's most recognizable historic landmarks.
