Sadowski Parkway Area Roadway Improvements – Phase 1 Begins July 27

The City of Perth Amboy advises residents and businesses that Phase 1 of the Sadowski Parkway Resurfacing & Various Road Improvements project is scheduled to begin Monday, July 27, 2026, along First Street, Madison Avenue, and High Street.

Phase 1: Concrete Work
July 27 – August 14, 2026, weather permitting
Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Work will include the installation, replacement, and reconstruction of concrete curbs, sidewalks, and driveway aprons.

During construction, portions of the roadway may be closed to through traffic. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to their properties. Street parking will not be permitted in posted work areas during construction hours.

Emergency and police vehicles will maintain access at all times.

Please observe posted temporary parking restrictions and allow additional travel time through the area.
