September 2025 Road Work Notice: Market Street (Bertrand Ave to Elm St)
Middlesex County will resurface Market Street between Bertrand Avenue and Elm Street, with work anticipated to begin the
week of , weather permitting.
What to expect
- Scope: Roadway milling and paving; pavement striping/markings replaced in-kind.
- Limits: Market St from Bertrand Ave to Elm St.
- Duration: Night work — expected completion in 1 night.
- Traffic: Temporary lane shifts and limited closures with police traffic control. Expect brief driveway/parking disruptions while pavement cures.
Emergency access will be maintained. Please follow posted detours and on-site personnel instructions.

- Start (anticipated): Week of
- Working hours: Overnight — Work will take place in the evening/overnight hours to minimize daytime traffic disruption.
- Weather: Dates are subject to change based on conditions.
