Office of the Business Administrator

The Office of the Business Administrator provides executive leadership and operational oversight for the City of Perth Amboy. Working under the direction of Mayor Helmin J. Caba, the Administration is committed to delivering responsive, efficient, and professional municipal services to residents, businesses, and visitors throughout the City.

The Administration works collaboratively with all municipal departments and utilities to strengthen City operations, improve service delivery, and ensure accountability, transparency, and effective management across local government.

The Department of Administration includes the Office of the Business Administrator, Personnel, Purchasing, Finance, Tax Collection, Tax Assessment, Utilities, and Economic and Community Development. Together, these offices coordinate daily operations and provide essential services that support the City’s residents, businesses, and overall quality of life.

The Administration takes a proactive and solutions-driven approach to fiscal stewardship, municipal operations, and constituent services. Through communication, collaboration, and long-term planning, the office remains focused on improving organizational performance and delivering reliable public services throughout Perth Amboy.
