About the Exhibit
This traveling exhibition explores the lives of everyday people in New Jersey during the American Revolution. Through personal stories and historical context, it highlights how individuals navigated a time of conflict, uncertainty, and change.
Visitors will encounter stories of divided loyalties, difficult choices, and the lasting impact of those decisions. The exhibit invites reflection on how these experiences continue to shape civic life today.
Hosted at the historic Surveyor General’s Office next to City Hall, this is a unique opportunity to experience a statewide exhibition right here in Perth Amboy.
