New Camera Program for Residents and Businesses

The Perth Amboy Police Department is working with Flock Safety on a new initiative to improve public safety. This program makes it easier for residents and business owners to register their security cameras or install new ones that connect with our emergency response system.

How You Can Help

1. Register Your Camera: If you already have security cameras, register them so the police can contact you if a crime happens nearby. Your video will only be requested when needed. It is never live-streamed.
2. Integrate Your Feed: Businesses can share live video feeds with the Police Department to help us respond faster during emergencies.
3. Install a New Camera: Residents and businesses can purchase Flock Safety cameras that connect directly with police systems. Setup and support are included.

This program helps the police gather evidence quickly and respond faster when something happens. It also helps keep our neighborhoods safer and builds trust between the community and the department.

• Is my privacy protected? Yes. Only the police can access your camera footage, and only if there is an incident nearby.
